How do we assist you in case of a complaint?

Solution 1: We contact the contractor you hired:

BCDFW will try to have the contractor do the right thing. We believe our contractors will deliver their duties. Most of the time an amicable solution can be often accomplished.

Solution 2: We pay another contractor within our network to fix/complete the project:

If the contractor is unwilling to do the right thing, their business gets removed from our site and we will pay up to $20,000 to hire another contractor of our network to help fix or complete the project.

Ex: the painter hired did not finish the project, we might have a trusted painter that can complete the project.

Solution 3: BCDFW will pay you up to $20,000 so you can hire another contractor of your preference.

Ex: the painter hired did not finish the project, if we do not have a verified contractor able to fix or complete your project, we will pay up to $20,000 to hire another company of your preference (must be approved by BDFWC). If fixing your project exceeds $20,000, you still need to pay the remaining amount needed to hire the new contractor.

The assistance that we provide depends on each situation and BDFWC reserves the right to determine if and how the homeowner will be assisted.

How much money does the Protection Program cover?

Up to $20,000.

Is Best DFW Contractors liable or responsible for contractors listed?

While we attempt to assist homeowners into finding reputable contractors and even offer financial compensation in case of a validate complaint, Best Contractors in DFW is not liable or responsible for any project or transaction that occurs between users of the site and contractors listed on our website.

Consumers are encouraged to use their best judgment when selecting a contractor.

Situations in which Best Contractors in DFW does not cover include:

Theft of personal property.
Bodily injuries.
Property liens.
Lawsuits
Criminal activity

How to report a contractor?

Simply submit a complaint form on our website and one of our team members will contact you.

Requirements to qualify for our Protection Program:

- There must be a signed contract between the homeowner and the contractor.
‍- Project must have started after.
- Contractor must be listed on our website www.bestdfwcontractors
- Evidence that the contractor ghosted the customer or is unwilling to do the right thing for over 21 days. We will consider pictures, videos, texts and/or emails as evidence.
- Homeowner must have registered the project through our website and receive email confirmation by our team.
